ERIK JONES www.erikjones.co www.erikjonesart.com
BIO
Erik Jones was born in 1982 in a sunny beach community in St. Petersburg Florida. He received a bachelor degree from Ringling College of Art and Design in 2007. Out of college, Working primarily in cover illustration, Erik toured the US showing at different pop culture and art conventions. He gradually made his way to Brooklyn New York in 2009 where he now resides. Erik was recently featured on the cover of Hi-Fructose magazine issue 27. You can also currently find is work in other publications such as ImagineFX and Lola.

WORK
Erik's work is vibrant and colorful, expressing a heightened sense of realism captured in his female subjects, juxtaposed with confident mark making and nonrepresentational forms that could be said to mimic geometric high-end fashion. This effect is achieved by using multiple mediums such as watercolor, colored pencil, acrylic, water-soluble wax pastel and water-soluble oil on paper.

ZOFIA BOGUSZ www.zofiaart.com
BIO
Zofia Bogusz was born in Poland in the '80s. As a child, she moved with her parents to New York City where she currently works and resides. Zofia received a bachelors degree from the School of Visual Arts, where she focused in oil painting and figurative studies. Zofia regularly exhibits her work, and enjoys doing freelance illustration as well as commissions. Her personal work was recently featured in Juxtapoz, the leading international art and culture magazine. Her art and interview is also featured in the print issue of a Miami-based art magazine Art Nouveau, as well as the Brazilian art and culture magazine ZUPI.

WORK
Zofia paints women against bold and dramatic landscapes, in which natural elements such as water and sunlight color the dynamic between the individual and the external world. She strives to render the balance of effortless beauty and strength that exists within the female form. Zofia's paintings are inspired by individual histories, memories, and experiences. Pop culture imagery also plays a crucial role in her work, creating a grounded sense of the everyday. Zofia's mediums of choice are oil paint, graphite, and colored pencils on hand-cut wood.

RODRIGO VALLES www.rodrigovalles.com
BIO
Rodrigo Valles is a 35-year old, NYC-based, entirely self-taught artist. He is of Mexican heritage, born in Chicago, Illinois and grew up in Texas. Art was always an interest but only took root during his high school years when he committed himself to learning and creating graffiti on the streets of Dallas. His focus then shifted to his education until he moved with his wife to the West Indies in 2005 where he taught himself to oil paint. This provided the vehicle to marry street art and fine art in a way that was uniquely personal. Rodrigo had his first solo show in August of 2011 at CultureFix on the Lower East Side of New York City. He has sold and showed his work regularly since then.

WORK
Rodrigo’s works define beauty using juxtapositions of urban settings and life. Even in his youth he viewed spray paint art as fine art because it was innovative and expressive. As such, his love for graffiti makes frequent appearances in his cityscapes, animal and figurative paintings. He uses urban art backdrops to counterbalance imagery of beauty and strength, both human and animal. His mixed media paintings also document the organically developed, pleasing, abstract nature of graffiti layers on city settings. His works attest to his belief that fabricated environments create progress, chaos, and in some cases, unforeseen art.
